MEMBERSHIP

  • Ordinary – engaged as loss adjuster and having completed module INS060 Loss Adjusting principles and practice from A11 Diploma in Business (Loss Adjusting).
  • Affiliate – has obtained A11 Statement of Attainment in Insurance Practice or 11NZ equivalent and passed the following subjects in the diploma in Business (Loss Adjusting) or 11NZ equivalent: Loss adjusting Principles & Practice; Preparing the Loss Adjusters Report; Property or Casualty Loss Adjustment; or holds an equivalent qualification; or by work experience Associate (ACLA) – Diploma in Business (Loss Adjusting) form A11 or 11NZ, plus 5 years practice and CPD requirement.
  • Fellow (FCLA) – Associate for 5 years; plus 10 years practice; plus 2 subjects of an approved degree level course or 2 subjects from A11 Fellowship course or 11NZ equivalent.

OBJECTIVES

To advance the profession of Loss Adjusting for the benefit of its practitioners and the public in general.

EXAMINATIONS

No – courses and exams developed with 11A.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Requirement in Charter to:

  • Be competent and use the utmost care and diligence in discharging his duties etc.
