How to Join as a Fellow

Thank you for enquiring to join the IFAA as a Fellow. Please read the following requirements to become a Fellow and if wish to continue with your application, the steps are detailed below.

To become a Fellow you must have written support of an IFAA Member Association, you must be qualified to the highest standard achievable within your own Institute or Assocation. This qualification should be the equivalent to Associate of CILA. The minimum age is 25, with 5 years continuing experience and willing to adhere to the IFAA's Code of Professional Conduct.


To join as a Fellow please initiate the following steps:


1. Click and download both the New Fellow Application Form as well as the Approval Form (see links below).

2. Locate your nearest Member Association by looking at our map.

3. Send the completed forms, copies of your qualifications and the membership fund (GBP25 or local equivalent) direct to your local Member Association (all postal, email and contact information can be accessed via the listing on the Member Associations page).

The Member Association, once they have received the paperwork and fee, will forward on your details to the IFAA Secretariat who will validate your membership. It is the Member Association's responsibility to forward on your paperwork and fee so please contact them to move your application along.
